Before Using Your Camera

Every User's Manual bears a section or chapter entitled "Before Using Your Camera".  This contains the essential information about your camera and also provides warnings and precautions as to the camera's use and handling.  It is a MUST that you read this section immediately.



For newly purchased camera, it is imperative to check the package contents and the names and functions of working parts and accessories before use.  A typical package contains:

1.  the camera itself
2.  battery or batteries
3.  memory card
4.  CD (compact disc)
5.  power adapter / battery charger
6.  USB (universal serial bus) cable
7.  strap
8.  user's manual
